What exactly is Olive?

Olive is an application for managing client work requests. Instead of wading through countless emails you simply log-in to your Olive account, where you will find an easy to read list of jobs that have come in direct from your clients. At a glance project status' give your clients an idea of when their jobs will be complete without the need for email.

 

You can use Olive to sell monthly maintenance contracts or your own unlimited plans that you set. Olive can cater for Pay-as-you-go or clients with unlimited access to your services. Generate more business by having your very own bolt on system that your clients will love!

Who uses Olive?

Pay-as-you-go with Olive.

We don't hold you to any contracts when you sign up to Olive, allowing you to cancel whenever you wish. You will be billed on a month per month basis, you are also free to change plans at any time during your stay with us. We hope you'll be part of the furniture in no time!

What do I need?

Olive is a fully hosted web application which means you don't have to worry about installation, it's all done for you and your clients. You will need an internet connection and a modern web browser such as Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer 7+. Although Olive works on IE6, we would still recommend a browser upgrade.

Making Payment.

To use Olive, you will be required to setup a Paypal subscription for the cost of your monthly plan. Paypal accepts all major credit and debit cards.

We're open to suggestions and here for support.

Support and suggestions are welcomed over at Get Satisfaction. Olive will have features added, at no extra cost to you, in the future. You can also email support@oliveapp.com with any questions.

Canceling.

Should you wish to cancel your account, we'll be really sad to see you go but it's all in your hands. Simply cancel your Paypal subscription through your "account" in Paypal and you will not be billed again.

Olive is built on the Ruby on Rails framework and is hosted by the kind folks over at atechlabs. Olive was built out of a need for an easy to use client management system.

 

Sarah ParmenterOlive is the brainchild of Sarah Parmenter of You Know Who, a small web design studio located in the beautiful coastal town of Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. Sarah has a passion for designing and building web apps, acting, photography and wants to live in Spain but ironically, hates Olives.
